Maltshop Marketing Scoops Up Three American Advertising Awards

Maltshop Marketing, a Shreveport-based marketing and design agency, won three American Advertising Awards over the weekend. The agency entered designs for their work with Louisiana State University Shreveport and startup/entrepreneurial venture Tre’s Lunchbox.

The “Shift Routes, Not Destinations” social media campaign done for LSUS won a bronze award. The integrated brand identity campaign for Tre’s Lunchbox also won a bronze, but the product box design for Tre’s was awarded a silver, a first for the small agency.

“We were really excited for this year’s competition,” said Erin Smith, co-owner and strategy director for Maltshop. “This is only our second year in business, but we knew we had some sweet things to showcase this year.”

“We obviously don’t do the work for the awards,” said Dellanee Wade, co-owner and creative director for Maltshop. “But it’s nice to have the recognition for our hard work. I think I speak for Erin and I both when I say that we can’t wait to see how the box design fairs at the district level of competition against some major brands.”

The American Advertising Awards are presented by the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier, the local chapter of the national AAF organization. The local club is more than 80 years old.
