A Sign of the Times

COVID-19 has rocked everyone’s worlds, y’all! Dellanee and I are both very thankful for all of those working on the front lines in the healthcare worlds, essential employees and those in the customer service arenas. They are all at-risk every day when they go to work. The rest of us wouldn’t be able to live successfully during this shutdown without the danger they put themselves in everyday.

But this post isn’t about them, though. It’s about the folks behind the scenes that we haven’t praised yet: the sign makers and banner printers.

Every where you look - at least here in Shreveport and Bossier - there are banners and signs in front of every business. The sign either indicates whether the location is still open for business, has altered hours or is doing curbside only. Personally, I think it’s a testament to how awesome our local sign-makers are! Think about how many banners and graphics had to be pumped out at the last minute to get everyone ready at the same time for this shutdown! I’m sure their phone lines and email servers were blowing up!

So to all the local sign-makers, printers, creators: hats off to you!

Here are a few local sign crafters that we know and love. A special shout-out goes to you!
