Game Recognizes Game: Kings Collab
When Dellanee and I brainstormed about what we wanted our company to be, there were a few things that were clear to us and easy to agree on. One of which was that no matter what clients came our way, we’d always give props to those who deserve it, even if they were our “competitors.”
Now I purposely put that word in quotations because we actually see most of those “competitors” as our friends. Through our work with the American Advertising Federation in Shreveport-Bossier, we’ve both made a ton of connections, and more importantly, friendships with others in the industry. Because of that, we’ve decided to use our blog space to highlight our friends and some of the really cool work they’re doing, as well as offer you guys great marketing advice.
KINGS COLLAB
Often times when people think about video for their business, they instantly imagine product visuals and smiling faces under good lighting. But in today’s social-centric world, fast, eye-catching motion graphics can go a LONG way to adding snap and pizzazz to a run-of-the-mill product ad. After years of top-level agency work creating videos and motion graphics for well-known national campaigns, our friend Cameron King ventured out on his own to start Kings Collab.
KC is a Louisiana-based marketing firm that specializes in thumb-stopping videos and motion graphics, punchy enough to catch even the fastest scrollers in the west. With a keen eye for color and lighting, Cam can take a simple, basic concept and up the wow factor by 10!
When he and I worked together chairing Advent10n 2019, an AAF District 10 convention earlier this year, he asked if he could make the walk-up graphics for the speakers as they approach the stage. Since I hadn’t even given the graphics any thought, I agreed. Y’all, he blew me away! He found an amazing, upbeat, theme-fitting track to play beneath the stunning images of Shreveport-Bossier, colorized perfectly to match all of the printed collateral that had been created for the conference. Nearly every keynote mentioned how fun and unexpected the walk-ups were. It definitely livened up the audience, priming them for the speakers.
Dellanee and I encourage you to take a look at Cam’s work. If you’re interested in incorporating stunning videography and multimedia flavors into your Maltshop marketing mix, we’d be happy to work with Kings Collab to create a full-scale brand strategy sprinkled with KC’s amazing visual content.
